About Braydon Haskell, DMD

Dr. Braydon Haskell is a highly skilled periodontist and dental implant surgeon, and the owner of Scottsdale Implants & Periodontics — a Biological, Laser, and Wellness Center built on a simple belief: the mouth is the gateway to the body, and lasting health begins by treating the whole person.
Dr. Haskell earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, graduating Cum Laude, from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, followed by a three-year residency in periodontics at The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, where he served as Chief Resident and trained in the full scope of surgical periodontics and implant dentistry. He holds advanced certifications in the most modern, tissue-preserving techniques in the field — including the Pinhole Surgical Technique for gum recession, LANAP and LAPIP laser therapy for gum disease and ailing implants, and QuietNite laser treatment for snoring and airway health. He also holds a parenteral permit for sedation dentistry, allowing him to deliver comfortable, anxiety-free care for even the most complex or apprehensive patients.
But what truly sets Dr. Haskell apart is why he practices the way he does — a philosophy that grew out of his own health journey. After confronting his own health head-on and committing to a personal transformation, he came to understand something that reshaped his entire approach to dentistry: inflammation anywhere in the body affects everything, and gum disease is rarely just a local problem. It reflects the health of the whole system.
This is the foundation of his biological approach. When we support the body’s own biology — through minimally invasive therapies, regenerative techniques, lasers, and airway-focused care — patients don’t just heal their gums. They heal faster, feel better, and improve their overall health. It’s a fundamentally different mindset from conventional “drill-and-fill” dentistry: rather than simply repairing damage, Dr. Haskell works to preserve natural tissue, reduce trauma, and help the body do what it was designed to do — heal.
Dr. Haskell’s commitment to health doesn’t end when he leaves the office. His own transformation sparked a deep, ongoing passion for performance, recovery, and longevity — from strength training and nutrition to modern recovery science and wellness technology. That same optimization mindset shapes how he cares for patients: looking beyond the immediate problem to how the whole body heals, recovers, and thrives. He’s genuinely passionate about sharing the tools and practices that have made a difference in his own life, and about helping his patients think of their health the way he does — as something to actively invest in and optimize, not simply maintain.
Dr. Haskell’s patients value their health and wellness more than an insurance company ever could. They understand that what’s covered and what’s truly needed are often two different things, and that just because something isn’t covered doesn’t mean it isn’t necessary. They want care built around what’s right for their long-term health — not around a coverage chart. They value expertise, want to preserve their natural teeth whenever possible, and appreciate being educated rather than sold to. For these patients, Dr. Haskell offers something rare — a specialist who combines genuine surgical skill with a whole-body, wellness-driven philosophy, and who takes the time to truly understand each person he treats.
Outside the office, Dr. Haskell’s life mirrors his philosophy. He and his wife, Erica, are raising four children, and their household runs on the same active, health-focused values he brings to his practice — training, nutrition, time outdoors, and living fully. It’s the Scottsdale way of life, and it’s exactly what he wants for his patients: not just a healthier smile, but a healthier, more energetic life.
